Nnete Inyangumia is a budding SAG actor who recently filmed Lionsgate’s feature film Honored, booked a national commercial and wrapped a weekly hosting gig on Jukin Media’s FailArmy Live!

As a recipient of the Groundlings and UCB’s Diversity scholarship Nnete is invested in developing unique characters and sharpening her writing skills. She’s booked a Guest Star on Tru TV’s Adam Ruins Everything, and a standup spot on Buzzfeed’s Open Mic Live!

Nnete’s quick whit, funny and infectious personality quickly made her the voice of Houston’s legendary Radio One 97.9 The Box radio station morning show, Conversations with Nnete and the H-Town Top 30 Countdown. As a natural conversationalist she has interviewed dignitaries and celebrities such as our First Lady Michelle Obama, Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Jay Z, pastor John C Maxwell and Biggest Loser Trainer Bob Harper just to name a few.

In addition to entertaining audiences at comedy clubs, Nnete hosts major live events including Universal Studios’ CityWalk 5 Towers Stage and is the national host for the first African American to walk in space, former astronaut Dr. Bernard Harris’ Dream Tour. In her spare time she volunteers as a Big Buddy with Comfort Zone Camp, a fun and safe place for grieving children.

Rolling Out Magazine has named Nnete as one of the Top 25 Women in Houston and she has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni of the University of Houston.

Nnete earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
